I am looking for any information on Charles E. Blackwell,a member of 364thSqn-305thBG.
Shot down by fighters near Puffendorf(?) Germany 14 Oct 43 in the 'The Uncouth Bastard'. (Pilot - Robert W. Holt)
He was a POW at Stalag Luft XVIIB
Also a copy of MACR number 914.
Any assistance would be appreciated as I am trying to put together a tribute to the man to go with his Air Medal.
