Hello,

I'm looking after some information about the crew/crash of the B-17 serial 44-41050 from the 451st Bomb Group. The B-17 went down on the 13 of October 1944. The mission that day was to Vienna, Austria. The aircraft crashed in Hungary.
That crew consisted of:

2Lt Ashley D. Smith, Pilot (POW)
2Lt Lloyd E. Yarbrough, Copilot (POW)
2Lt William G. Vorhaus, Bombardier/Navigator (POW)
Sgt Richard B. Clark, AEG (POW)
S/Sgt Arnold R. Silverstein, ROG (EVADED)
Sgt Francis L. Burger, Gunner (POW)
Sgt James J. Devlin, Gunner (KIA)
Sgt Constantine P. Margaritis, Gunner (POW)
SGT James M. Cassin, Gunner (POW)
