Hello,

I do not believe he died on 4.4.1945. No B-17 losses (MACR) for this day, seems to fit.

Going to the German "Volksbund" website, he is mentioned to be buried on the Stendal-Städtischer Cemetery "Feld 1 Reihe 1 ". No details about date of death.

Probably he took part in the operation "Werewolf" under the "Elbe Command" on 7.4.1945. But not confirmed.
