Hi Terry,
Although I have not been able to find a picture of 306thBG/369thBS B-17 'Dixie Demo ll' serial# 41-24417, I have found that on 26th July 1943, having been hit by AA, this aircraft Ditched in the North Sea. All crew members survived and were Returned to duty.
