Does anybody have any photographs of Thurleigh 1942-45,or any pictures of crews?nose art?369th squadron Fitin Bitin.B17 named Dixie Demo2?My dad who passed away in 99 at home in Florida was stationed there and was a waist gunner.Theodore(Terry/Ted)A.Harkin.
I have some pics but would like collect some more.He was a US citizen born in Seattle 1920,living in England in 39 volunteered and joined the RAF as an air gunner,was based at tangmere and subsequently transferred to the 8th air force when the US declared war.I hope somebody has some information or photos.
