My navigator was a 2nd Lt. and my engineer was a Tech. Sgt. Guess not every crew was the same. This has nothing to do with your inquiry----but my Tail Gunner was Don Sheldon and he became a famous bush pilot in Alaska and was the first man to land on Mt. McKinley.
