I will always remember July 29, 1944 and the brave crew men that were killed in a crash at our home base of the 96th Bomb Group. They are Lt. Robert Lyle, Pilot--Lt. Roger Kellogg, Navigator and S/Sgt. Walter Kozlowski, top turret gunner. I was the radio operator.
