Be advised the DD Form 214 did not exist during WWII. Separation form was either:

WD AGO Form 53-98 (For Officers)

WD AGO Form 53-55 (For Enlisted Personnel)

: try'ing to find out how to get my fathers dd-214 his records burned in the fire I've asked relatives but got nowhere.
: Richard R, Ellis 360th bs.1942 to 1945 all his missions where in 1944 he was with the Miss Liberty,Banshee,Temptress,Marie,Minnie The Moocher,Iza Vailable,Aloha,Lucky Linda,Flak Hack,Sack Time.and I found others looking for a way to verify that he got a purple heart for being wounded any help would be great Thank You. His Son
