You might try going to Google and typing in SF 180. Then you can access, as a non-relative, old military records. An application can be printed out and faxed or mailed. If the records were not destroyed in the St. Louis fire, and I've been told many Army Air Corps records were not, you may be able to find relatives names, marital status, etc. in the old file.
