Project Bits and Pieces shows this plane to be
42-31606 SO O (no name listed) that went down on 4 March 1944 S/Sgt Homer W. Taylor of Bushanan, MI was the tail gunner and I assume he is the one who is searching for crew members. A whitepages.com or peoplefinders.com search would probably prove helpful as several of the names are of the more uncommon variety. The MACR 2739 covers this plane and crew.
