It been 62 years since our crash on January 5, 1945. We landed in the snow on top of a hill near Remagne, Belgium. Thanks to the skill of our pilot Lt. Carl Hamilton we all escaped without any injuries. This was during the battle of the Bulge and we were not far from Bastogne. We were also lucky we were not captured by the Germans. I was the radio operator on this crew from the 338th Squadron, 96th Bomb Group.
