My wife's great Uncle served as a B-17 copilot at Knettishall (388th Bombardment Group (Heavy), 561 Squadron, Group H). His name was Clarence Farrrington. Clarence was the co-pilot on board the Shack Rabbits (a B17G-30-DL bomber, Aircraft Number 42-38177, the pilot was 2nd Lt A. Christiani) March 6, 1944 and was shot down near Bad Bentheim (on the German side of the German-Dutch border at 2:50 PM). He and four other crewmembers were killed in the crash (MACR 3091). The other five crewmembers bailed out and were taken prisoner. This mission this mission was 76th for the Group and the 8th for the aircraft. All of this information was found on the web. Can anyone please add to what I have learned? Are their any photos of this aircraft?

Thank you.
