My father was also shot down on May 12, 1944 not far from your uncle's plane. In fact, I corresponded with your uncle in 2005. Is he well? My husband and I went to Germany last spring and visited many of the sites related to the air battle that day. E-mail me your address and I will send some pictures on to you.

: Robert Patrick was the pilot and Robert F Kerr was co-pilot(my uncle). Plane was shot down May 12, '44 near Mershausen, Germany. All crew members survived...but all taken prisoner by the Germans. Any info and/or pics would be greatly appreciated.
