Hi folks,
My grandfather was a top turret gunner in the 8th, unsure of squadron. When I was a kid, I saw a photo of his aircraft - an F model B-17, olive drab, with a white "Lorena" on the nose, ending with a shamrock.
The plane was named for my mother, have no idea if anyone out there has any info on the crew or the aircraft, but if so, that would would be a miracle.
