: Looking for crewmembers of the Prevost crew, 755th Squadron 458th Bomb Group. They were assigned on July 10, 1944. On August 5, 1944 the crew flew their eighth mission to Brunswick and ended up ditching in the Channel (MACR 8675). The aircraft they were flying on this date was B-24H-15-CF 41-29359 J3 J named TAILWIND. The co-pilot, F/O Allen Boorse, Jr. was killed. The rest of the crew was picked up and it is assumed that they completed their combat tour. I know of at last two co-pilots who filled in on subsequent missions: 1Lt Allen S. Gross and 2Lt Eugene D. ODonnell.
