: I always like to remember July 29th as the day three men on my crew were killed at our base at the 96th Bomb Group. These men were Lt. Robert S. Lyle, pilot:
: Lt. Roger W. Kellogg, navigator: S/Sgt. Walter Kozlowski. top turret gunner. This was in 1944, 62 years ago, but it is a day I will never forget. I am thankfull that I was not killed that day. T/Sgt. Charles D. Terry, Radio Operator/Gunner.
C.D.--The 29th of July 1944 will always be in my mind too as I lost two close friends that day over Fallersleben,Gr. S/Sgt. John Sanders And S/Sgt.Billy Gomillion. May they rest in peace.
