Lost 8 April 1944 with several other planes very costly day for the 44th Bomb Group of which your uncle was apart of. Email was sent. Five KIA Five POWed. Went down in 42-109822 TOWNSEND TERRIBLE TEN on is 23rd. mission. Roger
