My uncle was lost on April 8th 1944 in his plane "Townsend's Terrible Ten" with most of his crew. I am looking for anyone that might still be alive that knew him.
I never knew him and my father (his brother) spoke very little of him in his lifetime as it brought him so much pain. I visited Normandy last week and feel the need to know all I can about my uncle. Thank you
