About 30years ago I was visiting a bar somewhere in southern California when I got talking to a bloke who was the pilot of a B24 but the arcraft was not in good shape He ordered abandonment before leaving himself(all survived. The aircraft crashed in downtown Norwich, demolishing a library. Can anyone recall this incident?My guess is it was either 458BG (Horsham St Faith0 or 456BG (Rackheath)
M y uncle was alocomotive engineer out of Great Yarmoth, and he used to say that hedelivered bombs to the Rackheath dump, usually on a Sunday
