According to Project Bits and Pieces, "Priority Gal" 42-97304 OR C failed to return on 31 July 1944 due to flak and crashed at Newstift,?. The MACR 7806 covers this plane and crew and is available by contacting Lynn.Gamma@MAXWELL.AF.MIL
at no charge. Expect a wait of several weeks to receive this report.
