55th FG memorial unveiled

Congratulations to the team behind the new 55th Fighter Group memorial at Nuthampstead. : Saturday (3rd June) was a wonderfully attended event and the weather couldn't have been better. Dr Russ Blowers (Chaplain of the 55th FGA and former 343rd FS member) and Warren 'Bud' Loring (Pilot with the 55th FG were in attendance, along with Duane and Sylvia Wikholm, who were paying their respects to Duane's older brother, Brad, who was one of the 38 names on the memorial stone. : Thanks to all involved, especially the 55th FGA, the 398th BGA, R.S. Memorials, Sandy and Ian of the Woodman, the Friends of the 398th, all the local people and enthusiasts and finally, Malcolm 'Ozzie' Osbourn for his support and drive throughout the last 12 months. : In memory of: : Lt.
