According the book "RAF Bomber Command Losses 1943" by W R Chorley, the German pilot was Oblt Wilhelm Telge, Stab.II./NJG1.
Suppose you are thinking about Stirling III BK817 from 75 Sqn on a Düsseldorf mission.
