: My father-in-law was a right waist gunner on a B-17. I'm doing a display case for his daughter with his medals in it for her and need to know if I should have a set of air crew wings to go with his Aerial Gunner Wings?

Go with his Aerial Gunner Wings, that is more appropriate for a shadow box and medals. Even though all the enlisted crewmembers had these wings, only the Radio Operator Gunner wore them on his Class A uniform since all the other positions had their own designated wings (gunner, pilot, navigator, bombardier)
