Thank you to all who posted on this thread. I began my return to school in January, 2002 after the attacks of 9-11 caused me to realize how ignorant I felt regarding the post-Cold War world. I obtained a B.A. in Poli-Sci in December, 2003 and enrolled in law scool in January, 2004. Yesterday's formal graduation ceremony provided a tangible marker not only for myself, but for my family and friends as well, without whom I could not have accomplished this milestone. Without Fred, for instance, I could not have carried on with the message board - his expenditure of countless hours and mental acuity successfully fought back a world of malicious hackers and made the board a safe haven. Likewise, many others provided, or offered to provide, spam-watch duty, and countless others contributed in their own way.
I thank you all once again for your assistance and good wishes. The accomplishements of each of us reflect the efforts of the whole and so I would hope that you can share the moment with me.
