Yes, B-17G 42-37981 was officially named "Belle of the Barbary Coast". It went MIA on a mission to Leipzig on 7 Jul 1944 with pilot 2LT James C. Neill. There was a mechanical failure and it crashed near Buckhorst, Germany.
