Any one with information on my mother's first cousin 2nd Lt. Wendell R. Buck, co-pilot on a 489th Bomb Group, 845th Bomb Squadron Olive drab & gray B-24J "Rebel Gal" with nose art. Pilot was Hugh Carroll. I'm trying to research my mom's cousin's combat career for a short story in Air Classics Magazine. I need mission details and photos if available.
