I am trying to reconstruct the USAAF career of my cousin William A. Gregory, KIA 13 Sept. 1944 on his 14th mission as Bombardier with the 306BG, 369thBS. He enlisted in Feb of '43 and was commissined from Carlsbad AAF Bombardier School with class 44-4.

I am looking for information of what this training consisted of, what and where it took place. Was he trained in navigation, gunnery, etc., when and where.

I wrote the people in St. Louis and they said the records ther were burned. Is there any place else that may have this information?

I greatly appreciate any and all information, leads on where to look, etc.
