Hi Sam and Moofy! I read Untold Valor a couple of months ago and had several long convesations with Sam about the book, both before I read it and afterwards.
It is an excellent fictional account of the air campaign based on the real life experiences of Sam. It is a great and fun read and I highly recommend it to all on this website. If you order one from Sam, he will personally sign it for you - a real nice touch.
Sam is an excellent author with a very refined writing style that keeps the reader involved and interested in the plot from start to finish.
I would compare Sam's writing style to that of Bert Stiles - nuf said!
