There's an entry in my late fathers log book dated 5/21/43, bombing mission from Thurleigh, Eng. to Wilhelmshaven Ger. in which he entered "General killed over Keil. (enemy action???) Minor battle damage". Dad was with the 306th group 368th sq. based at Thurleigh. Anyone have any information on who this General might have been? I have a picture of my dad with crew in front of a B-17 named "Dark Horse" and another called the "little Savage".
