I am searching information for a friend whose grandfather flew as a flight engineer in the B-17g serial 43-38013 with the 487th bomber group/839sqdn.from RAF Lavenham in 1944.
He would love to know the service record of this aircraft its fate and the details of the nose artwork as it was known as "Gus Pup"
