The following is a message from one who helped an American aviator during WWII:
Francois Boizard/Saint-Gobain@Exchange
To anyone who can assist me:
During the Second World War my father's sister and one of his brother helped an American aviator.
>>
This aviator was S/Sgt Henry Harrison Jones (flight engineer) from Petersburg (Florida) member of the crew of the B17 N° 425175, 306 BG 307 BS piloted by Lt Joseph A. Dowding. Their plane was shooted down the 16th of February 1943 over Saint Gilles les Bois in Brittany.
>>
>> This aviator landed with his parachute in my grandfather farmyard.
>>
>> My aunt and my uncle gave him civil clothes.
>>
>> Unfortunately two days later, they were arrested by the the Germans. They were deported in concentration camps in Germany were they died in 1945.
>>
>> I would be very grateful to you if you could find some information about Henry Harrison Jones.
