: I'm interested in finding anyone who might have any information or know any member of my late Father's plane he was a navigator on in the war. His name was 1st Lt. Ernest C. Hungate, Navigator- 8th Air Force, 96th, 338th Group and he was stationed at Snetterton Heath in England. He flew over 30 missions including VE day and D-day and was distinguished flying cross, bronze medal, ect. I've located relatives of veterans who flew in the same group and squadron but no one in his actual plane! Any help/insights/questions are appreciated.
