: SSGT Wyman, Serial No. 31 320 776, of Runford, ME, was serving as the Ball Turret Gunner aboard B-17 tail # 42-97219 when it was downed on September 28, 1944. The B-17 was piloted by 2nd LT Victor L. Olson, and was one of eight lost by their unit, the 388th Bomb Group on September 28, 1944.

I am guessing that the town should be spelled "R U M F O R D", only because I have been to a town of that name...
