Sixty one years ago this morning the 369th BS sent a number of B-17s on a bomb run to the synthetic oil plant at Mersberg Germany. The Duration Plus did not return. My cousin, William A. Gregory, bombardier, gave his all that day. This ultimate sacrifice was repeated by many during that war and they should all be honored and remembered. William is remembered and honored this day.
