Please give us the source of the information that has led to this query - is it a photo, a personal account of the incident, or what? Any information you can provide that will permit us to infer some context will assist us in responding to your question. The key problem for researchers in this instance is that, if "BK" does indeed indicate a B-17 from the 546th Bomb Squadron of the 384th Bomb Group, the 546th participated in a number of raids in the Berlin area, and lost numerous planes in that area (and on the routes to and from Berlin).
