Right before my father died he told me that his crew had got orders to go to the Asia. But the crew had already done 25 missions over Germany and had another order (?) that they were not to leave the states for a year, medical I'm guessing. He thought that that was funny since they were going down to South America continually to pick up troops returning home. I had no idea about that. I would appreciate any info anyone may have about this. BTW thank you guys.
