I just received a copy of my father's MACR from Maxwell AFB. Can anyone enlighten me as to the meaning of these abbreviations: EUS and RID (or maybe it's RTD). In addition, when the map included with the report has the notation "A/C 42-3049 in distress" does that mean that's the location over which the plane was first hit by enemy fire or the location where the plane crashed?

Any help people can offer will be greatly appreciated.
