Unknow plane crash site

Hello, i'm michele from italy, i'm an historical researcher about WWII planes crashed in my province (reggio Emilia, north italy).
I have collected about 60 crash sites, but one of them is a real mistery. The plane went down around 10th november 1944 near Canossa Castle, north italy. All the men aboard died in the crash, one attempt to bail out but his chute failed to open cause lack of altitude. I'm sure it was a B-17, After some year researching in 15th AF, i have found nothing, so i'm starting think it belong to (th AF. Anyone can help me? I need informations about 8th AF b-17 crashed in italy in attempt to join allied lines, thanks in advance
