attempting to find info on plane and crew.
my step father was a crew member of a b-17f "old deutsch cleanser" ac#???? stationed in podington england from april 1944 - august 1944. he belonged to the 92nd BG 407th BS and his name is william vance.
i was able to aquire a photograph of the crew while they were training in pyote texas in 1943.
here is what i can make out of the names on the photo.

ray ranch
??? dinks
??? wise
??? grisom
??? vespil or vespid
??? ruthenburg
william l vance
??? swando or swardo
??? alvis or aluis
keniga(?) smith
i know it isn't much info because i do not know their ranks but i hope someone has more info than i do.
