Many thanks to GT for telling me what the casualty initials meant. I pass them on in hopes they can help others: SWA Severely Wounded in Action and NOC (NC) No other category or status. Thanks to this Bulletin Board, I have just about ended a search that began 61 years ago covering my brother Richard's last moments, recovery and burial. Once I find his son, Richard D., in his early 60s now, the file on Richard, his father, will be completed. God Bless all in the 8th Air Force, and this noble cause. Elmer Curran (1st Lt., Artillery)
