The person named in "subject" was my father. He served in "The Eighth" in 12944, 1945 as an "intelligence officer". That is to say he debriefed bomber crews upon their return fro flights over the continent. After war's end he served in the Fifth Air Force in Japan until 1953. He served at Boling Air Base, Washington, D.C. and then Orlando Air Force Base from which he retired in 1964-5. He was born in 1907 in Mobile, Alabama, law degree from Harvard, 1930, married twice, died in 1966. Any person remembering him please contact me, his only son.
