I research the two B-24 claimed by the II./JG 53, Lt Harti Schmiedel. 15 km. NE Cherbourg . Fw. Alexander, II./JG 53. 15 km. NE Cherbourg.

According to losses of USAAF of 8 june 44.

42-109830, B-24J. 'Daisy Mae Scraggs' 446th BG, 704th BS. Shot down by fighter (Bf109 piloted by Fw. Schuster of 4.(F)/123.

42-94927, 493 BG, 860 BS. A/A Flak. Crached aera Dinan.

Safe possible corrections for losses and claims that follow.

41-31664, B-26, 387 BG, 558 BS. Lt. Rollwage, II./JG 53, 15 km. NE Cherbourg.
