David: It is interesting two the the 94th Squadrons, the 331st and 332nd, were assigned to the 91st Bomb Group at Bassingbourn and flew their first six missions with the Ragged Irregulars. I never knew this and thank you for making me aware.
I don't believe the 91st Unit History, The Ragged Irregulars of Bassingbour, Havelaar, mentions this, but I did find this mentioned on the 94th BG Memorial Website. Interesting stuff!
